Defaced: Swiss Death Metal

The story so far

Defaced was founded in 2012 and released it's debut album "On The Frontline" the same year. With the positive reception of the record, multiple shows gaining a formidable amount of new fans followed soon. "Forging The Sanctuary" was released in early 2015 via Rising Nemesis Records, marking a big step for the band, resulting in plenty more shows and appearances on festivals both in Switzerland and abroad. Lineup changes and the focus on the new album "Icon" meant a rather quiet period towards the public, despite the band being busier than ever. The newest record "ICON" is released on 20.02.2026, with a highly motivated line up looking forward to bring blast beats, brutality and lots of atmosphere to the next level!

Defaced is a five piece Death Metal band from Bern, Switzerland. Delivering crushing Death Metal with lots of blast beats, fast and heavy riffs and atmospheric black metal elements, Defaced is not a band you want to miss out on!
